Research to transform: Colombian UK 5th Annual Summit

For the 5th time since 2015, the community of Colombian researchers in the UK and researchers from all over the world interested in Colombia and working in UK institutions, will get together to strengthen their academic links and discuss their role as scientists in the development of Colombian society.
The 2018 summit, "Research to Transform", will take place in the prestigious University of Cambridge, and will focus on the potential research has to contribute to the positive transformation of Colombia.
Framed within the Colombian Policy on Science and Technology and the Sustainable Development Goals the summit will include:
- Introduction and critical discussion of COLCIENCIAS' National Guidelines for Research "Libro Verde 2030"
- Presentations of research experiences in the context of "transforming Colombia"
- Discussion on the role of scientific outreach in the development of Colombian Society
- Keynote speakers
