Centre of Latin American Studies Open Evening

Interested in Latin America?

Thinking about postgraduate study?

Come to an Open Evening held by the Centre of Latin American Studies, University of Cambridge, 5.30-7.00 pm on Tuesday 24 November.

There will be a presentation on the M.Phil. in Latin American Studies, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to chat informally to course tutors and students who have recently completed the course.

The M.Phil. in Latin American Studies at Cambridge offers a range of modules drawing on different disciplines, including anthropology, sociology, development studies, criminology, history, architecture, economics, literature, cinema and the visual arts. Students also prepare a dissertation with the individual guidance of world-class researchers in the field. The course provides excellent preparation for a career in academia, development, journalism, business or government.

For more details of the course see our website: www.latin-american.cam.ac.uk/mphil, and for maps on how to find us, go to University of Cambridge Maps.

There are a number of funding opportunities for both UK/EU and international students, including a new MPhil Studentship offered by the Centre of Latin American Studies and Robinson College. See: http://www.latin-american.cam.ac.uk/postgraduate/funding/prospective.
