"Indios y putos en la literatura argentina": Dos clases a cargo del escritor y crítico Carlos Gamerro

The Centre of Latin American Studies is very pleased to announce two special lectures on Argentine literature, to be given by the acclaimed writer and literary critic Carlos Gamerro. They will include material from Carlos's most recent book, Facundo o Martín Fierro, published this summer and receiving excellent reviews. Carlos has been associated with the Centre for a number of years and is a superb speaker.
The lectures will given be in Spanish and are open to all staff and students. Students taking SP12, SP13 and relevant MPhil modules are particularly encouraged to attend, as Carlos will be discussing texts and topics taught on those papers. Please arrive in good time as space is limited.
