The experience of Anglo-Argentine soldiers during the First World War

Federico Lorenz will join the Centre of Latin American Studies as a Visiting Fellow during the Lent term.

Dr Carlos Fausto (Assistant Professor, Ethnology of Indigenous Societies; Anthropology of War; Social Theory) Graduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS), Museu Nacional, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro

Carlos Fausto will join the Centre of Latin American Studies as a Visiting Fellow during the Lent term.

Jose Amado (Professor of International Dispute Resolution, Center for the Analysis and Resolution of Conflicts, Catholic University of Peru)
The Role of International Investment Law in the Resolution of Social Conflicts

Professor Amado will be working closely with members of the Centre’s academic staff as well as members of the Faculty of Law during his visit this Michaelmas term. Professor Amado obtained his Masters of Law at Harvard University where he was awarded the 1988 Public International Law Prize. A former Deputy Prime Minister of Peru, Professor Amado is currently Chair of the Peruvian Arbitration Institute 2014-2016.
